Thanks for coming by my blog. I’m Phil Morle.

I am a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) with experience running massive scale consumer internet businesses. I was the founding CTO at Kazaa where I was part of developing a technology strategy which saw 5 million users online at any one time, millions of downloads per day and a total global user base of over 100 million, all this powered by innovative technology, a globally distributed team and a sprinkling of imagination.

I have gained very real experience with the kinds of issues that businesses must understand to successfully execute on an idea. Turning an idea, or a piece of cool technology into a successful business, doing whatever it takes. Staying grounded in reality and reaching for greatness takes a confidence in knowing what works.

Since leaving Kazaa, I have helped many start-ups get to the next level including Yoick, YelloYello, Omnidrive, Prime, 3eep and Tangler, GetPrice, Linqia, 2Vouch, Lingopal.
